Sleeping at Kapika
We offer ten spacious and comfortable rooms decorated with traditional furnishings and private balconies that overlook the Kunene River and the surrounding wilderness. The rooms are houses traditionally built with thatched roofs. Sustainability is our top priority, which is why the lodge gets its electricity exclusively from solar energy.

Epupa Falls is a series of cascading waterfalls along the Kunene River, which forms the natural boundary between Namibia and Angola. The falls are approximately 37 meters tall and create a beautiful and peaceful oasis in the heart of the rugged landscape of the Kunene Region.

you can simply enjoy a stroll along the Kunene River, accompanied by one of our guides if you prefer. The Epupa area boasts colorful rock formations, an abundance of trees such as wild figs, monkey bread trees and swaying Makalani palms, spectacular sunsets, and constantly flowing water, making it a sight to behold.

Ich war 11 Tage am Stück - mit einer Gruppe - in dieser wunderschönen Lodge untergebracht. Simon hat uns als Gruppe herzlich willkommen geheissen. Von Simon und seinem Team wurden wir die gesamte Zeit hervorragend betreut. Auf unsere Wünsche ist immer individuell eingegangen worden.
